2) License to Use the Service
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal or internal business purposes, strictly in accordance with these Terms.
3) Restrictions (No Copying / No Self-Hosting)
Except as permitted by applicable law or by a separate written permission from us, you may not:
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, sublicense, sell, lease, mirror, frame, or host any part of the Service (including HTML, JavaScript, WebAssembly, CSS, images, data, or other assets) on any server, CDN, or website.
- Create a substantially similar service or derivative work by reusing the Service’s files, structure, design, compilation, or data.
- Use any automated tools to bulk-download site assets or scrape code/content beyond what is necessary for ordinary interaction with the Service.
The fact that certain files are transmitted to your device to enable use of the Service does not grant you any rights to reuse those files beyond normal, ephemeral browsing.
4) Third-Party Open-Source Components
The Service integrates third-party open-source software (e.g., Pyodide, CodeMirror, Viz.js, memory_graph) that is licensed under their respective licenses. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those third-party licenses when you obtain those components from their original sources under their terms.
Our restrictions apply to our original code, design, compilation, and the Service as a whole. We do not claim ownership of third-party open-source projects.
5) Intellectual Property
Except for third-party components referenced above, the Service, including our original code, design, compilations, graphics, text, and trademarks, is owned by Bas Terwijn and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Feedback you provide (suggestions, ideas) may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
6) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to access non-public areas, break or bypass security or usage limits, or interfere with the Service’s operation.
- Use bots or automated systems to send excessive requests or degrade the Service.
- Upload or transmit harmful code (e.g., malware, exploits).
7) User Content (if applicable)
If the Service allows you to submit content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent you have necessary rights to submit such content and that it does not infringe others’ rights.
8) Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Where applicable, we process personal data in accordance with the EU GDPR. For data rights requests, contact us at bterwijn@gmail.com.
9) Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with the “Last updated” date revised. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10) Availability; Third-Party Links
We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with your device. The Service may link to third-party sites or components; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
11) Disclaimers

12) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bas Terwijn and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of EUR 50 or the amounts you paid us (if any) for use of the Service in the 3 months preceding the claim.
13) Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bas Terwijn and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
14) Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service, other users, or our rights.
15) Governing Law; Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
16) Miscellaneous
- If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on that subject.
- You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
